About the Designer

I am proudly a wife, mother, sister, friend and now a besotted grandmother. Have always considered myself as positive, loyal, respectful, creative and passionate about flowers plants and trees! My happy place is walking amongst the grand old ladies in the Rain forests, tree hugging.

My fascination and love for Trees, flowers, plants and gardens began as a child, I would escape into my fantasy fairy world in my Grandmothers garden, it had huge native trees to climb and many paths and stairways that lead from one secret area to the next. Years later when revisiting this childhood garden, I became aware of the fact of how very steep and small the property was. The fascination and realisation of just how incredibly gifted my grandmother had to be, to have the vision, knowledge and creativity to create a garden that gave the illusion of depth and level space encouraged me to follow my passion.

I have for ever loved working with plants, flowers and people, and have been designing gardens professionally since 1985, I continue to draw my creative inspiration from my passion for the natural outdoor, native rain forests, trees, foliage textures, and wild flowers. Just love the empowering magical energy they emanate.
